This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed ata customer location. As a Utility Cloud Support Systems Administrator on our team, you will provide systemadministration solutions to meet required capabilities for cloud, Virtual Desktop (VDI), and other current andfuture Computer Infrastructure. You will create bills of materials, network designs and diagrams, rackelevations, cable run lists, build books, and other documentation for new and updated installations. You willalso work with network, storage, and server personnel to define new or modified solutions to complexproblems; respond to requests for new MUC and VDI systems; design systems to meet capacity and userrequirements; and determine required power, space, cooling, and funding to meet these goals.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university and ten (10) years 'experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. DoD 8570compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher is required.
- Additional Domain Experience:
- Computer Network Operations - Must have at least two (2) years of demonstrated experiencein Modern operating systems and network architectures.
- Information Assurance - Must have at least two (2) years of demonstrated experience in certification and accreditation. Architecture development and design. Risk Assessments. IA Metrics gathering.
- Ability to work independently and in groups to complete tasks bounded by constraints.
- Experience with VMware virtualization technology.
- Ability to break down complex problem space, formulate technical strategies, build action plans, andtrack progress against established baselines to resolve technical challenges and meet customerexpectations.
- Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
