Position Overview
Knowledge, Skills and Ability
Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards. General application of concepts and principles. Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks.
Problem Solving
Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Discretion/Latitude
Works under only very general supervision. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
Impact
Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals. Errors in judgement or failure to achieve results would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources to rectify.
Liaison
Frequent internal company and external contacts. Represents organization on specific projects. May make presentations to small groups.

Job Duties
- Install, terminate, and troubleshoot CAT6 and single-mode fiber across the US Army Intelligence Center of Excellence Campus Area Network (iCAN).
- Install conduit, network cabinets, and cable termination equipment (patch-panels, network drops).
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and use power tools (drills, saws) as necessary.
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to complete tasks within scheduled project timelines
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Top-Secret/SCI Clearance
- Familiarity with fiber fusion-splicing and CAT6 termination is a plus, but training can be provided.
