Description:
Waypoint's client is seeking a Digital Engineer to support system engineering and development efforts using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies. This role supports the development and refinement of system models, requirements, and design artifacts in support of mission objectives.

The selected candidate should have a basic understanding of network and system concepts as they will work closely with senior engineers, developers, and government stakeholders to ensure and create accurate diagram and architecture models a nd effective system design and implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Support development and maintenance of MBSE models using tools and frameworks such as SysML, DoDAF, and UAF.
• Assist in refining system requirements, designs, and test capabilities.
• Support integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to align system designs with mission needs.
• Contribute to documentation and development of engineering artifacts.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Experience with MBSE methodologies and tools.
• Experience working with SysML, DoDAF, or UAF frameworks.
• Experience supporting systems engineering or development efforts.

Desired:

• OCSMP certification (or working toward certification).
• Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
