Requirements for U.S. Candidates:
Citizenship:
*All Aspen Medical staff must be US citizens or Green Card holders. Sponsorship will not be available .
Education:
- High school diploma or GED. Successful completion of a state approved or CAAHEP accredited paramedic training program
- Must hold a current, valid, unrestricted paramedic license in one of the U.S. states, territories, commonwealths, or the District of Columbia
- Current, valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Qualifications and/or experience in Emergency/Trauma Medicine, Tropical Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and austere environments is highly desired
- Current, valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Current, valid certification as a Nationally Registered Paramedic (NREMT-P) through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT)
- A minimum of three (3) years of progressive clinical experience as a paramedic working in a pre-hospital care setting after licensure
- Experience in austere environments and previous military medic experience is highly desired
