Requirements for U.S. Candidates:
Citizenship:
*All Aspen Medical staff must be US citizens or Green Card holders. Sponsorship will not be available .
Education:
- A graduate or higher-level degree, bachelor's degree, associate degree, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educational program is required
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from a state accredited nursing program
- Must hold a current, valid, unrestricted advanced practice nursing license in one of the U.S. states, territories, commonwealths, or the District of Columbia
- Current, valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Qualifications and/or experience in Emergency/Trauma Medicine, Tropical Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and austere environments is highly desired
- Current, valid certification as a nurse practitioner from the American Nurses Association or another nationally recognized certifying body. The certification must be in the specialty to which the individual is being appointed or selected
- Minimum of three (3) years of recent advanced practice nursing experience in emergency medicine, triage, and treatment. Must have strong emergency medical/trauma care skills
