Requirements for U.S. Candidates:
Citizenship:
*All Aspen Medical staff must be US citizens or Green Card holders. Sponsorship will not be available .
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental health, public health, environmental science, environmental engineering, or related field preferred
- Certification or licensure as an Environmental Health Officer or equivalent professional accreditation is preferred
- A minimum of three (3) years of proven experience working in environmental health, occupational safety, or risk management, preferably in a healthcare or humanitarian setting
- Must be able to lead or assist with processes related to:
- Armed Forces Pest Management Board - ( https://www.acq.osd.mil/eie/afpmb/ )
- Technical Guide No. 31 - Operational Washdown and Agricultural Inspection Preparation for Military Conveyances and Equipment -(https://www.acq.osd.mil/eie/afpmb/docs/techguides/tg31.pdf)
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and guidelines, particularly in healthcare settings
- Experience working in fragile, conflict, post-conflict, and/or difficult operating austere environments is preferred
