Job Title: FADE Mission Operations Engineer

The Opportunity:
The Fusion Analysis and Development Effort (FADE) program is seeking a Mission Operations Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will leverage your operational intelligence experience to support ongoing engineering activities for FADE applications that are rapidly becoming the tools of choice for intelligence analysts throughout the IC and DoW. This is a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between operational intelligence work and software development, directly influencing the tools that support critical national security missions.
Key Focus Areas:
• User engagement • Direct support to software development efforts using your operational IC experience • Rotating 24/7 system monitoring and help desk support • Software testing and quality assurance • Training administration and instructional materials development
Responsibilities:
User Engagement & Training
• Deliver classroom and virtual instruction to end users
• Conduct occasional on-site engagement at customer locations
• Introduce and demonstrate new program capabilities to operational users
• Collect and document user feedback to inform development priorities
Engineering Support
• Participate in development meetings for planning and capability demonstrations
• Conduct software testing including early look reviews, regression testing, and ad-hoc testing
• Perform data integrity verification and validation
• Support continuous software development processes
Help Desk & Tier 1 System Monitoring (24/7 Operations)
• Provide round-the-clock coverage through rotation of occasional overnight and weekend
shifts
• Monitor phones, chatrooms, help desk tickets, and system dashboards across multiple
security domains
• Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with engineering staff for resolution as
necessary
• Document and curate user feedback including bugs, feature requests, and data layer
requirements
• Assist end users with tool capability and workflow applicability questions
Program Office Support
• Deliver application demonstrations to stakeholders
• Support technical exchange meetings and coordination efforts
• Provide exercise support and event recreation capabilities
• Engage users for training and new capability introduction
FADE Academy Content Development
• Create and maintain Knowledge Base articles
• Develop user workflows, instructional videos, and training scripts
• Produce comprehensive training materials supporting the FADE Academy
Qualifications:
Required:
• Clearance: U.S. Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance and recent polygraph (non-negotiable)
• Experience: Minimum five (5) years performing analytical work within the Intelligence Community
• Intelligence Expertise:
Established expertise in at least one intelligence discipline
multi-INT analytical experience
Familiarity with multi-INT data sets
• Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience using FADE Applications (MIST, Intelbook,
Watchbox, Linx, Reports, and Drive)
• Customer Engagement: Previous experience supporting both DoW and IC customers,
including interaction with senior community leaders and military officers
• Professional Skills:
Strong organizational and administrative capabilities
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong and confident oral and written communication skills
Proven detail-oriented analytical and critical thinking abilities
• Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to effectively work with end users of varying technical competence and
analytical experience levels (government, military, and contractor personnel)
Team-oriented mindset with ability to work independently with limited supervision
Desired

• Software testing experience and methodologies
• Prior experience as a trainer or instructor
• Proficiency with JIRA or similar project management tools
• Demonstrated experience creating training materials and curricula
• Formal FADE factory training certification
Working Conditions
• Occasional Shift Work: Intermittent overnight and weekend shifts to provide 24/7
operational coverage.
• Travel: Occasional travel to customer locations for training and support may be required
• Physical Location: On-site presence at Denver, CO factory location required

Pay Range :
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
