Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure and scalable DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) solutions using Infoblox DDI.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex DDI issues.
- Automate DDI workflows to improve operational efficiency.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams on all aspects of DDI, including IPv4 and IPv6.
- Stay updated on the latest Infoblox DDI features and best practices.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline.
- 5 years of additional Systems Engineering experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
- 20+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
- Ability to obtain DOD8570-M, IAT Level 1 certification.
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and Load Balancing (F5/DTC).
- Familiarity with outages, latency issues, and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing DDI solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including IPv4 and IPv6.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with scripting (Perl, Python) and automation tools is a plus.
Desired:
- DNS experience with a strong understanding of Infoblox maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM).
- Experience applying system engineering methodologies and principles.
- Familiarity with developing modern business methods and identifying best practices.
- Experience executing as a key coordinator between multiple project teams.
