Job Description
A client in the Middletown, RI area is seeking a Secret Test Engineer in support of a federal project. Candidates are expected to execute Test plans for Linux & VxWorks software development efforts, hardware and software integration efforts, and test planning and development.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Active Secret clearance
-BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant discipline and 5 years of experience or MS grad with degree and 3 years of experience.
-Test execution experience in software environments, and documentation of test results Experience with test tracking software tools.
-5-8 years of related experience
-Perform testing of both HW and SW systems, isolate failures, and propose solutions
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-Experience and knowledge of software development in C Experience working with embedded systems Experience with Atlassian toolset (i.e. Jira and Confluence)
-Experience in QA or configuration management
