Job Description
Role: Full Stack Developer
Location: Chantilly, VA
Clearance: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
Rate: $140K-$150K PA
The Full Stack Developer participates in development efforts to deliver a complete software solution across the cloud-based software development lifecycle, including front-end, back-end, and database components. This role designs and implements all levels of the solution, including the data layer, application code, and user interface, while ensuring optimal use of enterprise cloud infrastructure and security requirements.
The developer will design and deliver APIs and integrations with other software systems and databases and support Agile-based development activities.
Responsibilities
● Work with the Chief Engineer and Technical Leads to translate requirements into user stories
● Design and implement full stack cloud-native applications
● Develop front-end user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks
● Build APIs and web services for integration between systems and datasets
● Integrate with Infrastructure as Code DevOps tools for cloud orchestration
● Leverage AWS best practices for cost-conscious cloud deployment strategies
● Decompose functional requirements into technical specifications and tasks
● Design and implement data layer, application logic, and UI components
● Develop and maintain unit test scripts
● Participate in Agile sprint planning, standups, and iterative delivery
● Support integration with cloud applications and databases
● Ensure security and scalability of enterprise cloud solutions
Required Skills:
Minimum of 5-7 years' experience with:
● Application layer programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, C++)
● Database / Data Layer experience (e.g., SQL, unstructured data, MongoDB, Python, R, Elasticsearch, data management and analytics tools)
● Front end development skills (e.g., modern JavaScript frameworks like React.js, HTML, CSS, bootstrap, etc.)
● Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining systems on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
● Experience in Agile / Scrum
