LOCATION: Full-time, onsite in Chantilly, VA
We are seeking an accomplished Database Developer with a strong engineering background and a passion for building high‑quality, enterprise‑grade data solutions. This role requires a seasoned professional who can design, optimize, and maintain complex data structures across Oracle, PostgreSQL, and modern database technologies. You will support analytic workloads by developing and refining data models, load routines, and transformation processes, while ensuring rigorous testing and quality assurance within an established Oracle data tier.

Key Responsibilities
In this challenging yet rewarding role as a Database Developer, you are an integral part of what brings our Company's mission to life. You must have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering
- Utilizing Oracle, PostgreSQL and modern database technologies.
- Performing testing and quality assurance of developed solutions within the existing Oracle data tier.
- Developing, creating, and modifying data structure and data load routines for analytic use cases.
- Working with relational data tiers including cleansing, transforming and processing of structured data.
- Working with views, triggers and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services environments, including RDS, S3, notification/alert services, etc.
- Working within an Agile project management model and approved Project Management Frameworks.
- Aligning data architecture with enterprise strategy and architectures that integrate and improve the quality of enterprise data.
Highly Desired Qualifications

- Agile scrum master and agile development team member.
- Amazon Web Services/Cloud Data Migration Services.
- JIRA.
- Collaborating and presenting technical information with staff, IT customers, and other technical and non-technical staff and contractors at all levels.
- A variety of data repository types (i.e., relational, NoSQL, distributed processing framework, etc.).
