REQUIRED: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
LOCATION: Full-time, onsite in Herndon, VA
We are seeking an Assessment and Authorization Specialist to support mission‑critical security and compliance efforts. In this role, you will help safeguard complex systems by driving documentation accuracy and ensuring adherence to INFOSEC policies and regulatory requirements. You should bring a proven ability to manage large volumes of technical documentation, track processes with precision, and provide clear, actionable guidance to both technical and senior‑level stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Risk Management Framework (RMF) methodology.
- Managing document repositories and databases.
- Using process tracking and document control software.
- Writing, communications, and briefing skills.
- Proving technical guidance and oversight both to technical and non-technical, senior level personnel.
- Organizing, plnning and prioritizing multiple tasks to complete work on schedule.
- INFOSEC policies, regulations, and guidances.
- Cyber risks such as malware, zero-day attacks, denial of service attacks, as well as associated mitigations regarding computer and network devices.
- Pattern of excellent customer service skills and the ability to collaborate with customers at all levels.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in management information systems, information assurance, computer engineering, or other closely related IT and cybersecurity discipline or equivalent work experience.
Highly Desired Qualifications
Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:
- Knowledge of the Sponsor's A&A process.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
- Knowledge of the Sponsor's standard project cycle.
- Working within Sponsor's diverse information technology infrastructure, including operating systems, major application systems, and network architecture.
