Required Skills & Experience

A leading defense and aerospace organization is seeking a Test Equipment Design Engineer (Test Development Engineer II) to support the development, integration, and deployment of advanced test solutions for sensor and electronics programs. This role is ideal for engineers with a strong foundation in electrical design and test software automation who are interested in building and fielding complex test platforms in a production and mission‑critical environment.
The engineer will join a cross‑functional project team responsible for delivering automatic test equipment (ATE) solutions and architectures that support analog, digital, RF, high‑power, and embedded hardware and software systems. Test solutions leverage a combination of custom‑designed hardware and COTS ATE platforms, including electro‑mechanical fixtures, interface cabling, and harnessing.
This role offers exposure to the full lifecycle of test solution development, from requirements definition and design through system verification, validation, and final sell‑off in manufacturing or depot environments.
