Job Description
• Company: Northrop Grumman
• Position: Cyber A&A Engineer
• Location: Schriever AFB
• Duration: long term, ongoing contract – we are a direct sub to the C2BMC program
• Clearance: Secret, will hold TS if you already have it
• Program – C2BMC
"Essential Functions:
• Will leverage their Assessment & Authorization (A&A) expertise to analyze ACAS/SCC/ConfigOS scans and controls for ongoing system authorization
• Expected to collaborate with C2BMC and external stakeholders to assess system vulnerabilities, manage accounts, develop engineering responses for system POA&Ms, and conduct risk analysis for Risk Acceptance Requests (RARs)
• May assist in developing and maintaining system packages in eMASS/Xacta
• Works under general direction, and results are reviewed upon completion to ensure they meet objectives; failure to achieve results usually causes significant program delays and substantial resource expenditure
• Maintains frequent internal and external customer contacts and represents the organization by providing solutions to complex technical issues related to specific projects
Basic Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 5 years of experience; or a Master’s degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; or 9 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree
• Applicants must have a current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAM Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, CGRC, CASP, CISM, CISSP for Associate, CCISO, etc.) at the time of application, which is required to start. The candidate is responsible for maintaining their DoD 8140 certification throughout the entire contract period
• Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start
• Strong cybersecurity engineering skills with practical knowledge of cyber technologies, DoDI 8500.02, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) 800-53
• Excellent at preparing technical documents and communicating verbally
• Thorough understanding of ACAS/SCC results
• Hands-on experience reviewing scan data, STIGs, and RMF controls
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience managing Cyber Tasking Orders (CTO), IAVMs, and POA&Ms
• Experience collaborating with third-party assessors and auditors
• Experience in performing self-assessments and analyzing STIGs
• Experience with eMASS/Xacta and accrediting Cross Domain Solutions (CDS)
• Experience in managing and auditing accounts
• Knowledge and understanding of patch and configuration management for complex and diverse enterprise systems"
