AI/ML Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Engineers
Associate Engineer & Engineer Level - Cleared Opportunity
Pavati Solutions supports government customers, delivering AI solutions across Federal programs to ensure systems are trusted, validated, and operationally ready. We are seeking Test & Evaluation (T&E) Engineers with a focus on Computer Vision (CV) models to join a team delivering high impact projects within the Federal Government.
This role sits at the intersection of AI, national security, and responsible technology deployment.
What You’ll Do
Evaluate AI/ML models (with a focus on Computer Vision systems) for performance, reliability, and risk
Review model cards, data documentation, and test designs
Translate mission requirements into test frameworks and evaluation criteria
Support IV&V and accreditation processes
Apply AI governance frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF)
Deliver clear, actionable recommendations to stakeholders
Who You Are
Engineer (3–8 years)
Experience in AI/ML, T&E, or validation in complex environments
Comfortable operating independently and driving outcomes
Associate Engineer (0–2 years)
Foundational knowledge of AI/ML, data, or testing concepts
Eager to build experience in mission-driven environments
Required Experience
Exposure to T&E or IV&V environments
Understanding of ML evaluation (metrics, datasets, testing methods)
Knowledge of AI governance / risk frameworks
Ability to assess and interpret model validation processes
Preferred
Experience in AI/ML programs or MLOps environments
Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
Experience documenting models, data, and performance
Ability to translate technical findings into mission-relevant insights
Computer Vision experience
