Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph within the last 7 years to be considered.
Summary:
• Apply comprehensive systems engineering principles throughout the entire system life cycle.
• Administer and maintain both Linux and Windows operating environments.
• Manage and optimize complex data flows within the system architecture.
• Provide essential support for cybersecurity intelligence initiatives.
• Leverage a range of technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Kibana, JIRA, Confluence, and Virtual Box for system operations, monitoring, and documentation.
Qualifications & Compensation:
Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Years of experience: 20+ years
Salary: $337k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Lead the application of systems engineering principles across the full system life cycle.
• Perform advanced systems administration for both Linux and Windows environments.
• Design, implement, and manage complex data flow architectures.
• Contribute to cybersecurity intelligence efforts through system security practices.
• Develop and maintain system documentation using tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
• Oversee and manage containerized applications utilizing Kubernetes and Docker.
• Implement and manage monitoring and visualization solutions with Elasticsearch, Grafana, and Kibana.
• Utilize Virtual Box for virtualization and testing environments.
• Engage in requirements analysis, software architecture design, and integration and test activities.
• Apply expertise in Software Configuration Management, including DevOps and Continuous Integration/Delivery practices.
• Contribute to software development and software testing efforts.
• Apply mathematical principles to solve complex engineering challenges.
Required Skills/Experience:
• Linux system administration
• Kubernetes
• Docker/podman
• Running security scans
• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues with Elastic products such as Grafana and Kibana
• Jira for workflow management (ticketing)
• Confluence for documentation and artifact sharing
• Provisioning virtual machine resources
• TPAM for account management
• Planned and unplanned outage coordination
