Job Description
Insight Global is looking to hire a Top Secret Cleared VMWare Administrator to support a defense customer in Patuxent River, MD. This candidate will supporting a newly awarded contract where the team is providing various levels of IT enterprise engineering, operations, and hosting support services for the government customer. Daily tasks for this role include, but are not limited to:
Administer and support VMware environments, including ESXi, vCenter, and virtual networking across classified and unclassified systems.
Perform system administration for Windows Server 2019/2022 and RHEL 9, including patching, Active Directory, Group Policy, and compliance with DISA STIGs.
Manage SQL Server environments, EMC NetWorker backups, and vulnerability remediation using ACAS (Tenable.sc/Nessus) in accordance with DoD RMF standards.
Maintain and troubleshoot physical server hardware (Dell/HPE), including RAID, NICs, firmware, and BIOS, ensuring high availability of mission-critical infrastructure.
Compensation: $58/hr. - $70.17/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
