Overview
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Outreach Coordinator Level 2 to support systems engineering efforts within a mission-focused environment in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of customer engagement, technical communication, and data-driven systems support.
You will serve as a key liaison between technical teams and end usersāhelping to communicate system capabilities, gather requirements, and ensure successful adoption of tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage customer engagement activities, including meetings, briefings, and outreach efforts
Serve as a bridge between systems engineering teams and end users to communicate product capabilities
Gather, document, and relay user requirements and feedback to technical teams
Support the development and delivery of presentations, reports, and outreach materials
Assist in publicizing system capabilities and updates to stakeholders and analyst communities
Understand and communicate data flows, query syntax, and traffic manipulation concepts
Track action items, meeting outcomes, and follow-ups to ensure continuity and accountability
Provide customer support and ensure a high level of user satisfaction
Utilize tools such as word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software to support outreach initiatives
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
At least 1 year of experience in customer support, including coordinating meetings and managing customer relationships
At least 1 year of experience using:
Word processing or desktop publishing tools
Spreadsheets
Presentation/graphic tools
Strong understanding of:
Analytics and systems
Data flows and basic query syntax
Traffic manipulation concepts
Experience collaborating with analysts to:
Promote product capabilities
Gather and refine user requirements and feedback
Excellent communication, organizational, and coordination skills
Education Requirements
Associateās degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university
OR two (2) additional years of related experience in lieu of degree
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting federal government or DoD programs
Familiarity with systems engineering environments or mission systems
Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
