In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the supply chain team for programs within the Advanced Effectors & Space portfolio. This position requires strong leadership and strategic oversight to ensure the team meets cost, schedule, and performance objectives in alignment with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). Additionally, you will ensure compliance with contractual requirements and work to exceed customer expectations across multiple programs.

This position is onsite in Tucson, AZ.

What You Will Do

  • Manages execution of processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement strategy, Proposals, Risks and Opportunities, Estimates At Complete, Integrated Master Schedules, Negotiation strategies, Cost accountability, and program execution across multiple programs and portfolios.
  • Advise and influence program directors and external customers while leveraging strong communication, influence management, and presentation skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.
  • Attract, retain, supervise, and develop talent to build a high-performing team.
  • Own the critical strategic and operational controls of multiple programs with direct influence on results, setting objectives and guiding execution to achieve key deliverables.
  • Implement key performance indicators internally and with the supply base to ensure timely delivery to customers and adherence to the plan. Collaborate with senior leadership from Program, Operations, Planning, and Finance functions to optimize supply chain cycles and meet development requirements.
  • Resolve supply chain issues and serve as the subject matter expert (SME) by supporting and engaging with various Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) and other functional areas.
  • Lead initiatives focused on driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and efficiency across SCM processes (CORE).
  • Develop, grow, and support the Advanced Technology Supply Base to meet increased demand, enable quick-turn applications, and leverage niche technologies.
  • Expand Concentric Sourcing models to improve development flow in collaboration with Suppliers, Engineering, and Program Leadership.
  • Explain policies, practices, and procedures while addressing complex challenges that require risk-based decision-making and consideration of multiple variables.
  • Lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required.


Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years' experience.
  • Experience in supply chain management, vendor management, risk assessment/mitigation, and performance management.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems; SAP experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience with proposal development and management.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.


Qualifications We Prefer

  • Knowledge and application of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • Prior experience serving as a Materials Program Manager, Project management experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience managing employees and teams and working within a matrix organization and leading across multi-site operations, strong organizational and analytical capabilities with the ability to manage complex tasks effectively.
  • A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Existing Top Secret (T/S) clearance or eligibility for T/S clearance is a plus

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
