The Raytheon Industry 4.0 (I4.0) team is seeking an experienced and results-oriented I4.0 Prin. Project Manager. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical proficiency, project management expertise, leadership abilities, and business acumen to ensure projects are successfully completed, on time, and within budget while driving innovation. In addition, the role will support strategic business planning, and corporate initiatives. This role works across functions and levels in the business supporting a complex network of existing and developing digital and cyber-physical factory automation systems, creating I4.0 within Raytheon and supporting the growing demand.

What You Will Do
  • Directly manage high-impact, cross-functional projects
  • Develop and implement strategic project management plans
  • Expected to Travel up to 10% of the time


Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations or minimum of 5 years of applicable experience and an applicable MS degree.
  • Experience with project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, scheduling, manage budgets including EV techniques, proactively manage R&Os and lead cross-functional teams to successful project completion
  • Experience with transition to production of automation systems demonstrated or similar
  • Experience successfully communicating with strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.


Qualifications We Prefer
  • Raytheon Project Management level 6 certification and/or PMP certification
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Experience with all aspects of program types (i.e. design, development, production, and sustainment)
  • Experience managing Earned Value (EV) programs, complex schedules, multiple dependencies, including but not limited to capital investments, transitions to production, and work transfer projects.
  • Knowledge of relevant business sectors, have established relationships with leaders, and be familiar with the product lines, customer base, and manufacturing operations.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
