The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Lead Modeling & Simulation Engineer to support a program at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. If you have a background in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics/Physics, or Electronic Warfare (EW) with a desire to work on acritical large-scale contract we would like to speak with you.

Responsibilities:
As a Lead Modeling & Simulation Engineer, you will be tasked with supporting the ARAT-Simulation and Modeling Team for Post Deployment/Production Software Support (PDSS/PPSS) of U.S. Army Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) and Target Sensing Systems (TSS). Additional responsibilities will include:

• Serve as a subject matter expert and liaison to the customer for the Simulation and Modeling Framework (SMF) tool.
• Interpret parametric data and descriptions of both mechanical and RF capabilities of a system to develop complex simulations
• Understanding how the system functionally operates and use that information to create radar emitter simulations
• Discern which design and functional characteristics of radar systems affect which characteristics of an emitted radar signal
• Learn to develop test plans per provided requirements, execute the testing to support all test phases, perform test analysis, troubleshoot errors and develop test reports
• Travel to support mission requirements, attend conferences, and support technical exchange meetings.
• Formal delegated leadership for a team of ~3-5 individuals
• Conduct quarterly Touchpoints conversations with your team as an ambassador for employee growth and wellbeing
• Oversee and approve bi-weekly timecard compliance
• Provide Monthly Status Report (MSR) information
• Respond to ad hoc data calls from the PM and CACI leadership
• As needed, conduct performance and disciplinary-based discussions with team members
• Conduct annual merit increase discussions

Qualifications:

Required:
• Active Secret Level Clearance
• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or other Engineering or Technical discipline
• Strong RF Theory and applications knowledge
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, resourceful, and able to work independently
• Ability to complete tasks/projects with great attention to detail
• Excellent Communication Skills, both Oral and Written
• Comfortable using standard Windows and Office tools

Desired:
• Active TS/SCI Level Clearance
• 3-5+ years of relevant experience
• Knowledge and understanding of RF Engineering and Electronic Warfare (EW)
• Experience with Simulation and Modeling Framework (SMF)
• Experience with RF test equipment
• Knowledge of Radar Systems and/or Radar Theory
• Knowledge of RF Simulation
• Matlab, Python, C/C++, and/or Java coding experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
• Able to digest new technical information at a rapid pace for practical use
• Flexibility to work with changing requirements as developed and communicated from customer feedback
• Eagerness to improve efficiency and streamline procedures

Pay Range :

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$82,700 - 173,900 USD
