The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) Long Range Radars department is seeking a Cross Product Team (CPT) Lead to support one or more AN/TPY-2 radar programs. This position is located on-site in Woburn, MA.
Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable, and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices, and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. In this instance, you will be supporting the sustainment of a deployed system.
What You Will Do
As the Life Cycle Engineering CPT Lead, you will lead efforts across multiple radar contracts, including but not limited to: Radar Development Contracts (AN/TPY-2/XBR), Radar Test Contracts, Radar Sustainment (CLS), THAAD domestic and international programs, and Foreign Military Sale (FMS) efforts. The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

What You Will Do
As the Life Cycle Engineering CPT Lead, you will lead efforts across multiple radar contracts, including but not limited to: Radar Development Contracts (AN/TPY-2/XBR), Radar Test Contracts, Radar Sustainment (CLS), THAAD domestic and international programs, and Foreign Military Sale (FMS) efforts. Key responsibilities include:
- Optimizing AN/TPY-2 products and services throughout their life cycle by leveraging existing and emerging capabilities within LCE. Collaborate with Systems, Software (SW), and Hardware (HW) teams, sibling LCE CPTs, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Chief Engineers, Program Directors, and Program Managers.
- Leading the LCE CPT team for assigned programs, ensuring alignment with program goals, and driving technical, schedule, and cost performance.
- Implementing best practices for process optimization, advanced tools, and people management. Establish performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
- Providing inputs for proposals and supporting customer negotiations. Lead program start-ups, including the development of Integrated Master Plans (IMPs), Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs), and performance baselines.
- Collaborating with leadership to meet staffing needs, develop key personnel, and build long-term plans aligned with LCE and business objectives.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, including program tracking book development, Estimates at Completion (EACs), and Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
- This role will require approximately 5% domestic or international travel.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in budget and/or financial management including Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar tools.
- Experience in proposal and/or capture efforts.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Familiarity with RTX Life Cycle Program Management (RLPM) or similar business processes.
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities with consistency, accountability, and flexibility.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining customer relationships to meet contractual requirements and secure follow-on business opportunities.
- Experience in strategic development and/or contract capture within the defense industry.
- Program Management certification (PMP or equivalent).
- Strong planning and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret technical and financial data.
- Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) radar sustainment programs.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
