Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems through the full life cycle, from requirements analysis and algorithm development to software architecture and testing.
• Integrate systems and manage databases efficiently.
• Implement and optimize DevOps practices, leveraging tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Work with advanced Big Data technologies, including Hadoop, Map Reduce, and Accumulo, primarily utilizing Java.
• Provide leadership and guidance to software development teams.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 14+ years
• Salary: $305k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Lead and manage software development teams, guiding projects through all phases.
• Perform full life cycle software development, encompassing requirements analysis, algorithm development, software architecture, and comprehensive software testing.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems to meet evolving needs.
• Integrate diverse software systems and manage robust database environments.
• Implement and maintain DevOps practices, including Software Configuration Management, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery, using tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Develop and deploy solutions utilizing Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Map Reduce, and Accumulo, with a strong emphasis on Java programming.
• Conduct thorough software and systems integration testing to ensure quality and functionality.
• Apply strong mathematical principles to solve complex problems and develop efficient algorithms.
• Contribute to systems engineering efforts, ensuring cohesive and robust system designs.
• Communicate effectively through technical writing and presentations to team members and stakeholders.
