Summary:
• Lead the development and enhancement of complex software systems.
• Drive all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to testing and deployment.
• Specializing in algorithm development and robust database engineering solutions.
• Leverage a modern technology stack including DevOps principles, Linux environments, cloud platforms, and comprehensive monitoring tools.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 14+ years
• Salary: $305k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Lead and contribute to full-lifecycle software development, including design, coding, testing, and deployment of complex systems.
• Conduct comprehensive requirements analysis and translate them into actionable software designs.
• Develop and optimize advanced algorithms, ensuring high performance and efficiency.
• Implement robust software testing strategies, including integration and test activities, to ensure system quality and reliability.
• Design, implement, and manage database solutions, including SQL and related technologies.
• Drive DevOps practices, Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD), and Software Configuration Management using tools like Gitlab.
• Manage and automate infrastructure using tools such as Puppet, Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes across Linux and virtualized (VMWare) environments.
• Deploy and manage applications within cloud environments, specifically AWS.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions utilizing Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Provide technical leadership to software development teams, guiding architectural decisions and best practices.
• Engage in systems and hardware engineering considerations related to software development, including embedded systems.
• Develop and maintain networking configurations, including Cisco IOS and Cisco Routers.
• Produce clear and concise technical documentation and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
