Raytheon is seeking an Operations Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering operational support to a proprietary customer within the Intelligence Community, delivering mission critical capabilities that enable the planning and execution of intelligence gathering and process the resulting collected data into useful information and distribute to users. This is a day staff position that supports personnel in a fast-paced 24 x 7 Operations and Maintenance (O&M) environment. The O&M team is responsible for all aspects of mission operations and solving challenging problems that will make a difference in our country's future. Location: Alexandria, Virginia

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

What You Will Do
- Oversee and provide technical leadership to Raytheon engineers
- Provide technical knowledge and expertise on mission operations systems.
- Test and evaluate mission operations system capabilities.
- Oversee and provide technical support and training to personnel that execute mission operations
- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide and validate operational solutions.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
- Experience in executing assigned tasks.
- Experience in a collaborative environment with other engineering groups.
- Experience with mission operations
- An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
