Duties
DUTY 1 - Plans, organizes, and directs CS&D activities, ensuring that cybersecurity ventures comply with joint and Air Force policy, command strategy and intent and customer requirements.
DUTY 2 - Represents 16 AF/A6 to internal and external stakeholders on the status and implementation plan of CS&D projects, functions and tasks.

This is a GG-13 position in the Cyber Excepted Service (CES). The GG-13 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Senior" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: Mastery advanced cyberspace operations, policy and CS&D knowledge and experience. Knowledge of IT system server and integration methods, IT security principles, hardware and software protocols and project management principles. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of agency, AF, DoD and national-level doctrine, regulations, policies, guidelines, requirements, and initiatives pertaining to IT systems.
2. Knowledge of CSSP, CCRI, Information Assurance (IA) and DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP)/Risk Management Framework (RMF). Applies DoD and commercial best practices, methods and security products to protect and maintain the availability, integrity, confidentiality, and accountability of Air Force information system resources.
3. Knowledge of security procedures to maintain control of classified material.
4. Skill, judgement, resourcefulness, originality, and ability to foresee the impact of changing technology and in applying analytical and evaluation techniques to identify, investigate, and resolve complex issues or problems.
5. Ability to effectively organize and analyze information; produce authorization reports, position papers, and briefings that are responsive and actionable to the specific needs of commanders and senior management officials; present clear and concise findings; and effectively advocate for a position.
6. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; negotiate complex issues; and maintain good working relationships at the Headquarters Air Force, MAJCOM, Number Air Force, Wing, Group and Squadron levels.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
