Job Title: Imagery Processing Engineer / Scientist
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced engineer or scientist to support development and analysis of advanced imagery-based capabilities in a mission-focused environment. This role involves working with a variety of imagery products and data sources to develop, process, and analyze complex datasets in support of operational and research objectives.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with imagery formats, imagery data collection methods, signal processing applied to imagery, and techniques for combining or fusing results across multiple apertures or sources. This work requires a strong analytical foundation and the ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical, software-driven solutions.
Candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with a variety of imagery formats and data types to support analysis and processing efforts
• Support collection, ingestion, and management of imagery data from multiple sources
• Develop and apply signal processing techniques to imagery data
• Implement and evaluate methods for combining or fusing imagery results across multiple apertures or sensors
• Develop software tools and algorithms to support imagery analysis and exploitation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support research, development, and operational integration efforts
Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or another math-intensive field
• 5+ years of relevant experience working with imagery data and processing techniques
• Experience with imagery formats and data handling
• Experience with imagery data collection or sensor systems
• Strong background in signal processing applied to imagery
• Experience with multi-aperture processing or data fusion techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and contribute in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
• Experience developing software tools for imagery processing or analysis
• Familiarity with intelligence-related domains or operational environments
• Experience working with large or complex datasets
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
