Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Ensure technical integrity and execution across engineering teams to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives
Lead and mentor a multi‑disciplinary engineering team supporting missile development
Drive RF seeker design, test, and integration activities, including subsystems and support equipment
Lead internal design reviews and support customer milestone reviews
Coordinate with subcontractors and partners to ensure technical deliverables
Support program planning, schedules, and engineering cost estimates
Guide engineers from concept development through release of technical data packages
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 12+ years of relevant experience
Eligible for Clearance
Experience leading missile system trade studies, development, integration, and test
Proven leadership in complex system architecture design and execution
Experience across the full product lifecycle (concept, design, integration, verification, production)
Strong customer interface experience within the defense industry
Experience managing engineering resources and multi‑million‑dollar budgets
Familiarity with engineering risk and opportunity management
Strong communication skills and ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment
Willingness to travel occasionally to government or contractor sites
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree with 12+ years or PhD with 10+ years of relevant experience
Experience leading system‑of‑systems integration efforts
Experience developing and releasing formal engineering documentation
Background with mission‑critical or safety‑critical systems
Familiarity with relevant MIL‑STD, IEEE, and DoD engineering standards
Compensation:
$180,000 to $227,000 per year annual salary.
