You will contribute as both an individual technical contributor and a mentor to junior engineers, while working effectively in a collaborative team environment. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills are essential to deliver high-quality modeling and analysis products.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain system reference models in support of intelligence and analysis objectives using MBSE methodologies.
• Conduct system analysis leveraging MBSE models to evaluate system behavior, interfaces, performance, and trade-offs.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior model-based systems engineers.
• Prepare clear technical analysis reports and professional briefings for internal teams and customer stakeholders.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
• Support continuous improvement of MBSE modeling standards and workflows.
Required Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline. (Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Master’s.)
• 10+ years of relevant experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering or applied systems engineering.
• Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility (required).
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
Desired Qualifications
• Hands-on experience developing SysML models using tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, or equivalent.
• Experience applying MBSE to aerospace, space, missile, or intelligence-related systems.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex engineering data into structured, reusable system models.
• Strong technical writing and briefing skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
