Volt is immediately hiring for Principal Platform IAC Engineer - RICHARDSON, TX
Principal Platform IAC Engineer will be well versed in maintaining COTS/FOSS products and use of tools such as LDAP, RHEL, Tenable, Consul, Ansible, terraform to implement and support the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solution for our programs.
This is 12 months Full- time- contract with possible hire opportunity.
Clearance: Active TS/SCI w/ Poly
Required Skills:
• Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and a minimum 8 years of related work experience
• Experience with Integration, Cloud, Containerization, Infrastructure/Platform as a Service, Linux Development, Microservices
• Experience with Linux System Administration (E.g., RHEL 6.0+)
• Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g., scrum, SAFe).
Desired Skill Sets:
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Experience with application deployments to Kubernetes
• Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket), Cucumber, Eclipse, and Git
• Experience implementing Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe)
• Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins, Artifactory)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, or Go
• Experience working with Postgres and SonarQube
• General working knowledge of networks, storage, and virtualization technologies
• Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration
• Experience with Ansible automation frameworks
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification or willingness/ability to obtain
Pay Range: $90.00 - $ 100.00 per hour.
