At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling - to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today's mission and stay ahead of tomorrow's threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.

The Sea-Launched Cruise Missile-Nuclear (SLCM-N) program is a critical Navy initiative designed to provide the United States with a "non-strategic regional presence" that deters adversaries. To support the successful development of the SLCM-N missile, Raytheon must establish state-of-the-art lab facilities, missile assembly areas, and secure information systems that meet program requirements.

As the SLCM-N Ecosystem Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating with Raytheon facilities, security, digital technology (DT), cyber security, the SLCM-N IPTLs, and the Chief Engineer (CE) to plan, fund, and execute the standup and certification of all SLCM-N program-required labs, missile assembly facilities, and information systems. Reporting directly to the SLCM-N Program Director, you will represent the interests of the program team in all facility-related coordination, ensuring all infrastructure is completed on time to support integration, testing, and a rapidly growing team. This role requires experience with lab facility standards, construction planning, and working with external contractors to evaluate and execute facility plans.

What You Will Do
  • Lead the planning, funding, and execution of all SLCM-N program-required labs, missile assembly facilities, and secure information systems.
  • Coordinate with Raytheon facilities, security, digital technology (DT), cyber security, SLCM-N IPTLs, and the Chief Engineer to ensure alignment with program needs and requirements.
  • Serve as the primary interface between the SLCM-N program team and external construction contractors to evaluate construction plans, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with lab facility standards.
  • Develop and maintain capital funding plans in coordination with the program business manager to ensure funds are available for facility construction, furnishing, and certification activities.
  • Represent the interests of the program team in all facility-related coordination within Raytheon, ensuring labs and facilities are delivered on schedule to support integration, testing, and general seating for the growing team.
  • Oversee the certification of lab facilities and information systems to meet program security and operational requirements.
  • Support the SLCM-N Program Director, IPTLs, and Chief Engineer in identifying risks and mitigation strategies related to facility construction, funding, and readiness.
  • Provide regular updates to program leadership on facility progress, budget status, and readiness to support program milestones.
  • This role is onsite in Tucson, AZ within minimal travel.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Program or project management experience to include managing budget and developing funding plans for projects.

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage risks in a fast-paced development environment.
  • Experience with defense or aerospace programs requiring secure lab facilities and information systems.
  • Familiarity with Raytheon or similar corporate processes for facility construction and certification.
  • Knowledge of integration and test environments for complex systems, especially missile systems.
  • Leadership experience in managing facility readiness for technical teams and cross-functional coordination.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
