The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Network Management/Administrator (Level 3) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network infrastructure, extensive experience in network administration, and proficiency in network management systems. This role requires advanced troubleshooting skills, the ability to configure and maintain network equipment, and experience with various networking tools.

Responsibilities:

• Network Administration:
• Configure, maintain, and optimize network equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues promptly.
• Implement and manage network security protocols to protect the integrity and confidentiality of data.
• Network Management Systems:
• Administer and manage network management systems such as Extahop, Solarwinds, EM7, HP Openview, and Cisco ISE.
• Utilize networking tools to monitor, manage, map, and backup configurations of network devices.
• Perform regular audits and updates to ensure network systems are up-to-date and functioning efficiently.
• Troubleshooting and Support:
• Diagnose and resolve complex network issues in a timely manner.
• Provide Tier 3 support for network-related problems, escalating issues when necessary.
• Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for future reference.
• Security and Compliance:
• Ensure all network activities comply with organizational security policies and standards.
• Maintain TS/SCI clearance and adhere to all associated requirements and protocols.
• Collaborate with the security team to implement and enforce network security measures.
• Project Participation:
• Participate in network infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new installations.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of network solutions that meet business needs.

Qualifications:

• TS/SCI Clearance
• High School Diploma or GED
• 4-6 years of experience in network administration.
• 4-6 years of experience with network management systems administration (e.g., Extahop, Solarwinds, EM7, HP Openview, Cisco ISE, etc.).
• Advanced Understanding:
• In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure and protocols.
• Proven ability to configure and maintain network equipment.
• Experience with utilizing networking tools to monitor, manage, map, and backup configurations of network devices.

• Recommended:
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)

Pay Range :

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$86,600 - $181,800
