The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced IT Asset Manager (Level 3) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in managing IT asset life cycles, budgeting for IT resources, and maintaining vendor relationships. This role requires TS/SCI clearance and a strong commitment to ensuring the efficient and secure management of IT assets.

Pay Range :
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Responsibilities:
- IT Asset Management:
- Oversee the entire IT asset life cycle, from acquisition to disposal.
- Implement and maintain IT asset management policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with asset management standards.
- Budgeting and Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for IT assets.
- Analyze cost-effectiveness and return on investment (ROI) for IT assets.
- Collaborate with finance teams to forecast IT asset-related expenses.
- Vendor Management:
- Establish and maintain relationships with IT vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
- Evaluate vendor performance and manage any issues or disputes.
- Compliance and Security:
- Ensure all IT assets comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the security team to implement measures that protect IT assets from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Maintain TS/SCI clearance and adhere to all security protocols.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate reports on IT asset performance, utilization, and costs.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.
- Track metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of IT asset management practices.
Qualifications:
- Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's of Science degree in IT, Business, Finance, or a related field; or 5 - 7 years of related experience with 3+ years in management.
- Expertise:
- Proven expertise in managing IT asset life cycles.
- Strong understanding of budgeting for IT resources.
- Excellent skills in managing vendor relationships and negotiations.
- Certifications:
- Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM)
- Certified Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)
- TS/SCI Clearance
