The Opportunity
CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Data Scientist (Level 3) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, advanced machine learning techniques, and a proven track record of developing and implementing innovative data solutions. This role requires leadership skills to mentor junior data scientists and a deep understanding of cloud computing platforms and AI tools.

Pay Range :
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. - Cloud Computing: Utilize cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure) to deploy and manage data science projects.
- Innovative Solutions: Develop and implement cutting-edge data solutions that drive business value and improve operational efficiency.
- AI Tools and Capabilities: Leverage AI tools and adhere to Responsible AI (RAI) policies to ensure ethical and responsible use of AI technologies.
- Metrics and Evaluation: Create metrics, measurements, and evaluation methods for both emerging and existing areas of AI to assess performance and impact.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data science, analysis, and modeling.
- Advanced machine learning techniques (deep learning, NLP).
- Ability to lead and mentor junior data scientists.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Proven track record of developing and implementing innovative data solutions.
- Good knowledge of AI tools and capabilities, Responsible AI (RAI) policies, and development of metrics, measurements, and evaluation methods for emerging and existing areas of AI.
- Certifications:
- Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
- Advanced certifications in specific machine learning domains (Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing)
- AWS Certified Machine Learning
- TS/SCI Clearance
