The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced VMware/Broadcom Administrator (Level 3) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge of VMware products and solutions, with a strong focus on VMware vSphere, virtual machines, networking, and storage. This role requires TS/SCI clearance and the ability to work in a secure environment.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. - VMware Administration: Manage and maintain VMware vSphere environments, including virtual machines, networking, and storage solutions.
- System Optimization: Ensure optimal performance and availability of VMware infrastructure through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Deployment and Configuration: Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware products and solutions in alignment with organizational standards and best practices.
- Security Compliance: Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect VMware environments, ensuring compliance with TS/SCI clearance requirements.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for VMware configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to integrate VMware solutions with broader IT infrastructure and applications.
- Training and Support: Provide guidance and support to junior administrators and end-users on VMware-related issues.
- Project Participation: Contribute to projects involving VMware infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Alternatively, 7 years of relevant experience with VMware Certification may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated expert knowledge of VMware products, particularly VMware vSphere solutions, including virtual machines, networking, and storage.
