The Opportunity:
Are you a passionate and experienced Training Instructor / Facilitator professional ready to make a significant impact on organizational growth and effectiveness in a dynamic international setting? CACI has the opportunity for you! CACI has an immediate opening for a Training Instructor to join our team in Yokosuka, Japan.

The successful candidate will support Workforce and Organizational Development initiatives, with a focus on leadership development, adult learning, and facilitation. This role is responsible for supporting the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of leadership development programs, including the Leadership Development Academy. The candidate will facilitate leadership and professional development courses and contribute to organizational effectiveness and business process improvement initiatives. This role requires strong collaboration across teams and alignment with organizational priorities.

*NOTE: This position is located on customer site in Yokosuka, Japan. You must live in the local area, be willing to relocate to the local area or be able to commute to the customer site on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver leadership development programs and courses
  • Facilitate engaging training sessions for adult learners (in-person and/or virtual)
  • Serve as course facilitator/lead and support overall program delivery
  • Prepare and manage training logistics, including materials, scheduling, and classroom IT setup (projectors, laptops, A/V support)
  • Lead exercises, discussions, and applied learning activities
  • Provide coaching/mentoring and feedback to participants
  • Maintain accurate and organized training records and documentation
  • Conduct post-course reviews and recommend improvements
  • Support the development of new course content and instructional materials
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify development needs and align solutions
  • Support business process consulting efforts, including facilitating sessions and recommending improvements


Qualifications:

Required:
  • 3+ years of experience in learning and development, organizational development, training, facilitation, or a related field
  • Strong facilitation skills with demonstrated experience teaching adult learners
  • Experience designing and developing training or learning programs
  • Demonstrated interest and experience in leadership development and organizational effectiveness
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting classroom technology and A/V systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment


Desired:
  • Experience facilitating leadership academies or structured development programs
  • Certification (or ability to obtain) in: GROW Coaching ; Crucial Conversations (Mastering Dialogue and Accountability); DiSC or similar behavioral/leadership assessment tools
  • Experience in organizational development, consulting, change management or process improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies
  • Must be able to lift and carry materials up to 30 lbs, including training supplies and course materials
  • Ability to support in-person training for extended periods
  • Occasional travel will be required

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
