Make an impact supporting the Defense Logistics Agency! Lynch Consultants is seeking a Senior Subject Matter Specialist with a solid understanding of DoD Financial Systems who is ready to take on meaningful challenges and make a measurable difference.
As part of the G-Invoicing project, you will be responsible for leading a workstream within the DLA Agreements Program Center of Excellence (COE). This role requires a seasoned Federal Financial Manager who has experience analyzing and writing policy at various levels of the organization, developing training materials to support key processes within scope of G-Invoicing program, and supervising small teams of associates. The role will also involve assessing current support agreement policy at the DoD, DLA, and functional levels in order to identify gaps. With gaps identified, the team will work in collaboration with Government SMEs to design and implement remediation strategies for each of the identified gaps.

Work Location and Schedule:
- This position is located in Ft. Belvoir, VA; on-site daily.
Required Qualifications - Must Have:
- MUST understand DoD policy and hierarchy of policies at the various levels of government.
- MUST have 15+ years of related work experience in Finance, Accounting, and/or G-Invoicing.
- MUST be a U.S. Citizen.
- MUST have a BA/BS Degree.
- MUST have an active Public Trust Clearance.
- MUST live in the greater Washington D.C. region/National Capital Region (NCR): Virginia, the District of Columbia/D.C, or Maryland.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with GINV and/or Federal Government ERP systems.
- Experience with FIAR/audit readiness within the Federal Government.
- Data visualization using Power BI or other data visualization platforms.
- Understanding of Reimbursable intergovernmental transactions.
- Experience developing training materials.
- Experience in a user help desk role.
Skills:
- Supervisory skills and ability to manage small teams.
- Experience analyzing government policy documents.
- Understanding of the support agreement lifecycle.
- Ability to drive requirements and outcomes in an evolving environment.
- Lead associates to develop/execute client requirements.
- Interact with government clients on a daily basis.
- Provide weekly status updates of progress, roadblocks, and decision points.
- Must be able to lead working groups and drive project outcomes.
