The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking an experienced level Configuration Manager to join our dynamic CACI team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the baseline configuration for our Windows 11 and Windows Server environments. This role requires advanced technical expertise in operating system deployment, configuration management, and automation.

This position is hybrid with work expected in our Chantilly, VA office 2-3 days a week and remaining days remote.

Responsibilities:
  • OS Deployment and Imaging: Design, build, and maintain Windows 11 and Windows Server images for enterprise-wide deployment using Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM).
  • Infrastructure Management: Manage a large-scale Windows environment, including infrastructure for operating system deployment and configuration. Experience with Hyper-V is required.
  • Automation Development: Develop scripts in at least one language (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to automate deployment tasks, software installation, and system configurations.
  • Baseline Configuration Management: The team is responsible for maintaining the baseline configuration for Windows 11 and Windows Server, ensuring consistency and compliance across the enterprise.
  • Patching and Software Distribution: Utilize MCM for enterprise-wide software updates, patching, and application deployments.
  • Security & Compliance: Collaborate with security teams to ensure that all deployed systems meet compliance standards and security baselines through automated checks and configurations.
  • Troubleshooting: Act as a point of escalation for complex issues related to Windows operating system deployment, configuration, and management.


Qualifications:

Required:
  • Must have Active Secret Clearance.
  • DoD 8140 compliant (ex: Security+)
  • 10+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor's Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience).
  • Configuration Management: Proven experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM).
  • Scripting Proficiency: Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  • Virtualization: Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Windows Ecosystem: A deep understanding of Windows Operating Systems, including Windows 11 and Windows Server.


Desired:
  • Experience with Adaptiva for content distribution and P2P PXE.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
  • Familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8 and 9.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as MS Azure Hybrid Administrator or Microsoft certifications related to MECM/SCCM and Windows Server strongly preferred.

Pay Range :

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
