Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Quality Technician will support one of our largest federal client's manufacturing operations by ensuring in-process and final product quality through audits, inspections, and quality data review. This role partners closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to coordinate inspections, document reviews, and the disposition of non-conforming material in alignment with AS9100 and ISO9001 quality systems. The technician will review test procedures, detailed work instructions, and engineering drawings to verify compliance with quality requirements, while facilitating communication between Quality, Manufacturing leadership, and Engineering to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement across the production environment.

Must Haves:
• Proficient in reading specifications and Engineering documentation.
• Must have certification in IPC workmanship standards such as ANSI-J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, WHMA-A-620 and Space addendums.
• Experience in manufacturing, preferably Aerospace and Defense
• Experience with Depot inspections
• Advanced experience reading and understanding drawings
• Advanced SAP competencies with inspection module.

Preferred Skills:
• Knowledgeable in MS Office tools: Excel, PowerPoint.
• Some experience in training or providing guidance to electronic assembly operators.
• Experience using SAP
• Experience with GDR, DS Modules, L3 Communications Kites, and L3 Communications K2s.
• Experience in Rack assemblies either inspection or assembly
• Experience working in Aerospace and Defense industries
• Experience or knowledge of 5-S, Lean Six Sigma work environments

Essential Functions:
• Conducting audits and inspections and recommend corrective actions or improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate and provide guidance to assemblers and testers in their performance to our quality procedures and adherence to standards
• Interfacing with program, engineering, manufacturing and quality management
• Ability to coordinate and work with multiple program and operations teams
• Identify, write up and report on non-conformances

Compensation: $55- $60/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
