Mid Level | TS SCI with Full Scope Poly Required
We are looking for a Hardware to Software Integrator who enjoys making physical systems and software
work together. In this role, you will connect mission equipment to modern software services so systems
can be controlled, monitored, and understood in real time.
This work sits at the intersection of hardware, networking, and software. You will build the interfaces and
services that allow mission equipment to communicate with distributed systems and user interfaces.
This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys solving integration problems and working across hardware
and software boundaries. You will spend your time figuring out how systems talk to each other,
integrating new equipment, and building the services that allow complex systems to operate together. If
you like seeing real hardware respond to the software you write, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
• Integrate hardware systems with software services so equipment can be controlled, monitored,
and statused through applications
• Develop and maintain services that interface directly with mission equipment
• Implement XML based interfaces and communication protocols between systems
• Build and support REST based services in distributed environments
• Collaborate with software engineers and system engineers to integrate equipment into operational
systems
• Support containerized software installation and deployment workflows
• Troubleshoot and improve integrations between hardware, software, and networked systems
Required Qualifications
• Active TS SCI with Full Scope Poly
• Experience controlling or statusing hardware or mission equipment through software
• Experience working with system interfaces and integration points
• Experience with technologies such as
o Java
o XML
o REST services
o SNMP
o noSQL databases
o SCPI
o React
o NodeJS
o GEMS
• Understanding of system integration and interface control
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with containers, Kubernetes, or Helm charts for software deployment
• RF knowledge or hands on RF system experience
• Experience working in classified or mission critical environments
