Basic Requirements:
- 20 years experience as a system engineer
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
- 5 additional years of experience as a system engineer may be substituted for a degree
Job Description:
- Perform System Engineering tasks utilizing the Forward Networks platform.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Become familiar with the Forward Networks commercial tool, and quickly become proficient in it.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Forward Networks tool to include set up and maintenance of data collection tasks.
- Utilizing the Forward Networks tool, model and visualize the network infrastructure in order to verify network behavior and ensure network compliance.
- Provide technical support, user training, reports, and documentation for the Forward Networks platform.
- Collaborate with external teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Serve as a technical expert and mentor to junior engineers.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Network Security (within the past 2 years)
- Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) applications and tools.
- Linux
- AWS
- Scripting development
Desired Experience:
- Forward Networks platform
- Splunk/Elasticsearch
- Scripting development
- Confluence
