Cloud System Administrator – Level 2
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
Compensation: $157,000 – $175,000 + 15% employer 401(k) contribution
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled Level 2 Cloud System Administrator to support the installation, administration, and maintenance of LAN/WAN systems, computer hardware, software, and cloud-based infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring system reliability, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN systems, servers, and computer hardware and software
Troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues to ensure high availability
Administer and support cloud infrastructure, with experience in AWS
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system improvements and support mission requirements
Monitor system performance and security compliance
Required Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years in installation, maintenance, administration, and troubleshooting of LAN, WAN, computer hardware, and software
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college/university; five (5) additional years of SA experience may be substituted for a degree
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
