Job Description

Titan Technologies, LLC (Titan) is seeking an experienced, self-directed, Audio Visual / Video Teleconferencing (AV/VTC) Technician to support the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) III contract. As a member of our team, you will help to assist USSOCOM, Service Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOC), and deployed forces in the delivery of a full spectrum of Information Technology (IT) services to operate and maintain information flow, communications, and connectivity globally.

Job description

The AV/VTC Technician requires excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as thorough knowledge of VTC hardware, software and network connections. The AV/VTC Technician must have expertise in scheduling VTC sessions in AV/VTC bridges, as well as hands-on experience with debugging the interoperation of AV/VTC bridges and end points.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, manage, maintain, operate, and defend common area VTC equipment, including day-to-day setup, scheduling, and monitoring.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and administer multiple simultaneous VTC sessions.
  • Provide dedicated support to VTCs attended by VIPs.
  • Recommend upgrades to VTC systems.
  • Provide version control and provisioning via a Telepresence Management Suite (TMS) for VTC CODECs.
  • Install flat panel displays, room based VTC endpoints, projectors, and A/V equipment.
  • Resolve issues down to the equipment level (black box).
  • Manage, maintain, and post a daily MSL and shift change procedures.
  • Schedule, configure, and connect users to DISA GVS and DVS conferences.
  • Train designated personnel on the operation of VTC equipment.
  • Potential to work shifts during exercises.

Required Qualifications:
  • A DoD TS/SCI clearance
  • At least four years of experience supporting and troubleshooting AV/VTCs equipment in Government environment, as well as troubleshooting and fixing AV/VTC hardware and software.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT II certification
  • AVIXA's CTS certification
  • Specialized Certifications for a specific systems used (e.g., Cisco, Polycom)

Education:
  • High School Diploma with 6 years of experience OR AA + 4 yrs of experience OR BS + 2 years of experience OR MS + 0 years of experience
