Technician III – Avionics / Satellite Hardware
Contract | $30-40/hour
We are hiring Technician III professionals to support the build, inspection, and testing of satellite avionics hardware. This role focuses on electronic racks and harness assemblies in a high-reliability aerospace environment.
Responsibilities
• Install, inspect, test, adjust, and repair avionics and electrical hardware
• Perform soldering, cabling, and harness assembly work
• Support electronic rack builds and satellite hardware production
• Use precision measurement tools and follow detailed work instructions
• Perform inspections, testing, and documentation of work completed
• Follow strict safety, cleanliness, FOD, ESD, and 5S standards
• Properly package, handle, and maintain hardware throughout the build process
• Collaborate with team members to meet quality and schedule requirements
Required Experience
• 3+ years of avionics, aerospace, or related technical experience
• IPC J-STD-001 Certification
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification
• Hands-on soldering experience
• Experience with cabling, harness assemblies, and/or electronic racks
Additional Details
• 6-month contract with strong potential for extension or conversion
• Up to $40/hr, based on experience and education
