Job Description
- Implement the base Resource Protection Program (RPP) in accordance with Air Force directives to include:
- Train RPP custodians in subordinate units on procedures and methods for protecting base. resources from theft and fraud, and controlled areas from unauthorized access.
- Conduct anti-robbery and controlled area access exercises.
- Conduct base audits to ensure compliance and recommend program improvements.
Responsibilities
- Administer Defense Biometrics Identification System, to include managing operator roles, providing training on system use to security officers, performing system maintenance, and coordinating system issues with high-headquarters agencies.
- Administer new-hire and annual physical fitness test for security officers.
- Unit S4 responsible for vehicles, property and supplies.
- Monitor and approve work schedule/leave for ECC (Emergency Control Center) Fire Dispatchers.
Qualifications
- U.S. citizen.
- Three years of prior law enforcement experience.
- Able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Preferably with expertise in resource protection or controlled area security.
