Job Description
The Data Analyst is responsible for assisting in the development of training plans and providing instructional training for the Army Reserve using Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS)-Army, Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP), Vantage, and other Army Logistics programs. The Maintenance Data Analyst is responsible for assisting in collecting Army Reserve Field Maintenance Program statistics.

Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Maintenance Chief on the Command Maintenance Discipline Program (CMDP).
- This includes pulling all background data and information from sources of record in preparation of the government inspecting a command.
- Data is extracted the week prior to execution.
- Data Analysts will conduct over the shoulder training using logistics information systems and Microsoft products.
- Monitor and review the performance and quality of GCSS-Army training plans to identify improvements.
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
- Utilize and scrub databases, data collection systems, data analytic, and implement strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and assist with maintaining databases/data system.
- Monthly, spot check the Army Reserve G4 Readiness Divisions (RD's) & Geographical and Functional Commands (GFC) monthly metrics.
- Data Analysts and Government will rotate through the RDs and GFCs monthly to spot check data. Any discrepancies from the RD and GFC will be annotated and then added to the weekly report for completion.
- Assist in providing training to AR units during the Maintenance Mangers (MM301) course.
- This includes keeping the lessons up to date, all class preparation and closeout requirement.
- 10 working days prior to each class, the Data analysts and government will review lesson plans and material for upcoming class.
- The Data Analysts will be the Primary Instructors for conducting the actual class while the government will spot check throughout training period. (Any disputes/questions that the Data Analysts are not authorized to dictate to students, i.e.. to extend class day, etc.
- Will be handled by the government representative.)
Data cleansing and instructional training for the RDs & GFCs. - The Data Analysts will conduct an In Process Review (IPR) prior to execution with the RD and/or GFC.
- The Dat Analysts will travel to a location and conduct over the shoulder training using systems of record and Microsoft products.
- Then record the after results from each area worked on from the data cleanse and add it to the weekly report.
- Attend Maintenance Workshops, meetings, briefings, and reviews.
- Extract and assist in analyzing the information for the Logistics Readiness Review (LRR), and Reserve Component Readiness Review (RCRR) Deep Dive.
- Provide real time data to the Crisis Action Team (CAT).
- Data Analyst will extract the real time equipment quantity and location down to the physical address and real time equipment status from the system of record GCSS-Army.
- Personnel Supply / EOH Equipment Readiness Training PSRT.
- This information is only pulled as needed. Data Analyst extract the information from systems of record such as RCMS, GCSS-Army, USATA, and ASEIP compiled using Microsoft products to complete the snapshot in time called the maintenance metric.
- Assist Army Reserve soldiers with difficult tasks in systems of record over the phone.
- Predictive Maintenance.
- Maintenance Enterprise.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in GCSS-Army, Army Enterprise System Integration Program (AESIP), specifically in relation to fleet readiness and maintenance operations.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in providing training and instruction to small groups, including development of training materials.
- US Citizen with ability to obtain Secret clearance.
- High school diploma.
