Job Duties:
- Analyze user requirements, CONOPS, and system architectures to develop system requirements and support design, development, integration, and implementation activities
- Lead and contribute to system architecture, engineering documentation, and planning, including SEMP development, integration/test plans, and technical documentation (SOPs, runbooks, playbooks, and security documentation)
- Provide technical support for requirements analysis, feasibility studies, trade studies, and lifecycle optimization
- Support and guide system integration, testing, interface definition, and end-to-end system analysis, including resolution of hardware/software issues and vendor escalation
- Collaborate with government stakeholders, program teams, and senior leadership, delivering clear technical communication, including at the executive level
- Ensure technical integrity, compliance alignment, and quality of deliverables across assigned systems and areas of responsibility
- Support system administration and operational activities, including:
- Patch management and environment maintenance
- Certificate management and secure communications
- User roles, permissions, and authentication structures
- TCP/IP configuration, ports/protocols, and firewall management
- Application installation and system configuration
- Administration of RHEL and Windows environments
- Troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Develop and utilize automation and scripting solutions (Bash, PowerShell, Python) to improve system efficiency and operations
- Aggregate and analyze system data to support decision-making, performance monitoring, and reporting
- Stay current with emerging technologies and support their evaluation and integration into operational environments
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in a technical discipline; an additional 4 years of may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- Minimum four (4) years of directly related technical experience
- E xperience with:
- Systems engineering lifecycle processes (requirements, design, integration, testing)
- System administration and enterprise environments (Linux/RHEL and Windows)
- Scripting/automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, ports, protocols, firewalls)
- Documentation development (SOPs, runbooks, playbooks, security documentation)
- Understanding of access control models, authentication, and basic compliance requirements
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with ability to work independently and support complex programs
- Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification and Microsoft Certified Professional (or equivalent)
- Experience with Agile or DevOps environments
- Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
