Job Description
Contract Duration: 12 months + extensions
Day to Day:
Insight Global is hiring Helicopter Modification Specialist to support our client in Cheyenne, WY. The individual will be focused on avionics and responsible for assembling, disassembling, and modifying aerospace systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading components to address failures or implement design changes. They will oversee the assembly, disassembly, or overhaul of systems, configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment, and troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate and repair faults. Additional responsibilities include performing validation and verification testing of systems and components, documenting procedures and processes to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory standards, inspecting components, and verifying repairs to meet flight worthiness requirements. The schedule is 1st shift 7:00-3:30pm, but must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift.
Must Haves:
• Secret Clearance
• 3 years of experience with Military aircraft maintenance
• Experience working on helicopters/jets electrical wiring, navigation systems, and communication systems
Plusses:
• Military background
• Experience with MH-139 helicopters
• Experience with rotorcraft maintenance
• Airframe and Power plant (A&P) license
• Weapons maintenance experience
