About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and seasoned Key Management Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting our critical cryptographic operations. If you have a robust technical background in COMSEC management and a proven track record of developing and implementing secure key management solutions, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and Enhance COMSEC Infrastructure: Support and maintain a variety of COMSEC devices, applications, and protocols including EKMS, KMI, MGC, OTNK, SKL, TKL, iApp, JENM, ACES, Atom, and End Cryptographic Units.
  • Develop and Review Key Management Plans: Contribute to the creation, review, and analysis of Key and Certificate Management Plans (KCMPs), specifications, standards, and supporting documentation.
  • Create Comprehensive Test Plans: Design and develop detailed test plans, procedures, and use cases to validate key management systems and emerging technologies.
  • Evaluate New Technologies: Test and assess new COMSEC Key Management technologies and solutions to ensure they meet our standards.
  • Liaison with Stakeholders: Act as a key point of contact with vendors and various Department of Defense (DoD) stakeholders, including presenting to senior leadership.
  • Participate in Working Groups: Actively engage in and support Army, DoD, and NSA Key Management Working Groups.


Qualifications:
  • Clearance: An active DoD Top Secret clearance.
  • 10+ Years of Experience: Proven experience with COMSEC infrastructure and related technologies.
  • Expertise in KCMPs: Demonstrated experience in reviewing and developing Key and Certificate Management Plans, standards, and implementation guidance.
  • Strong Skills: Excellent analytical and technical writing skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Laboratory Experience: Comfortable operating within a laboratory setting.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
