Summary:
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure environments.
• Automate software deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
• Support and maintain robust big data solutions and platforms.
• Implement and advocate for Agile/Scrum methodologies across projects.
Qualifications & Compensation:
5+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering or Software Development and Bachelors in related field; or 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
Salary: $271k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Automate infrastructure and application deployments using DevOps principles, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Develop and maintain scripting solutions with Python, Bash, and Go for system automation and tooling.
• Manage and optimize containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems.
• Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Support and enhance big data ecosystems including Hadoop, Accumulo, Apache Spark, NiFi, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Apache Hive.
• Manage source code control and versioning using Git.
• Apply Agile/Scrum frameworks to project execution and team collaboration.
• Contribute to workflow automation and advanced system administration tasks.
• Implement Software Configuration Management best practices.
